Although lesser-known than some of its Cycladic neighbors, Serifos is undoubtedly the island with the most beautiful beaches, which number more than 50 and are almost evenly distributed to the four corners of the island. Still untouched by the heavy hand of overtourism, the island’s natural beauty is evident. The beaches on the south side of the island have a distinctive color due to the iron oxide granules mixed with siliceous sand. There is no significant infrastructure, and only a few of them have seasonal accommodations. A lifetime could be spent discovering them.
